ABOUT ME
I am a proud UKRI Future Leaders Fellow and Nottingham Research Fellow since February 2020. My newly started group is part of the Condensed Matter Theory Group and the Centre for the Mathematics and Theoretical Physics of Quantum Non-Equilibrium Systems at the University of Nottingham. Together with our collaborators in Boston, Helsinki and Tokyo, we are working on various topics in statistical mechanics and quantum thermodynamics. A major goal of our research is to explore new avenues towards thermal machines that utilise collective phenomena in many-body systems for quantum technology applications, such as cooling and waste heat recovery on the nano- and atomic scale.
